About Gregory Marabella
“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”
I started my photography journey as a kid when my family started buying me disposable cameras. I got my first digital camera in 2008, I started with a Nikon CoolPix. I started basic phone photography in 2014, then moved to a Sony a5000. Two years later, I got another camera, a Nikon D3400. I now currently have a Sony a7r IV, which, has pushed my photography to an all new level. I do most of my photography in New Mexico, Colorado, and around the four corners area. I enjoy going out in the world to photograph scenes that a lot of people don’t usually see. I mostly focus on nature and landscapes, I got into astrophotography in 2019 and I have come to enjoy getting up in the middle of the night to shoot our wonderful galaxy. There’s something about being in the middle of nowhere in complete darkness that gets me really excited to continue this journey. I hope to continue to grow as a photographer and learn more about the world.
